G'day all,
We are looking to go to
darwin in April to try some Barra fishing.
Can anyone reccomend a good tour operator for a 3 day trip??
Cheers
Dave

Dave ,
April is a great time to go because it is a good time to fish the run-off . This is the end of the wet where the water is still running off the floodplains into the creeks and rivers .
It is the best time of the year to fish and there are a lot of big fish to be caught if the wet season has been a good one .
Ask
Darwin Barra to fish the run-off and stay out at the South Alligator Hotel . Great run-off fishing plus a swimming
pool when you get back at night .
Cheers ,
Willie .

Dave ,
If they are booked out , ask them for a recommendation . They are good people and will steer you clear of the lazy guides and get you onto a good operator.
Unless you already have rods and reels , don't bother to buy them or lures . They always have great gear and if you lose lures or break a rod you pay them for it but otherwise , using their gear costs nothing .
Cheers ,
Willie .
