I have just phoned the white pages to get the number of a service station or similar at
Wiluna. At first the girl said she couldnt find the town of
Wiluna but she offered a number for a suburb of
Wiluna which was
Newman. I will not be driving in the Outback with her. Never know where I would end up...

Hi Merv,
Wiluna (as you know) is a large City sandwiched between Toorak and Portsea.
Newman,
Perth, and
Melbourne are suburbs.
Yes, Diesel is available next to the KMart store (right across from the Shire Offices). Don’t get lost.

Mate there is diesel available everywhere in the outback.

Wiluna it had three servos all sell diesel.
