G'day all,
Has anyone out there used the portable bracket for a Warn XD9000 winch, the one that has handles and slides into a towbar receiver.

I think the ability to winch forwards, backwards or hopefully never "sideways" is a great idea, but just want to know how awkward they are.

Thanks in advance.
Shiny side up guys.
Regards
Brendan...

One question comes to mind, where do you stow the bloody thing?

I think they weigh about 60kg and need very heavy cables to get power to the winch at the back of the car. Plus as has been stated a PITA to store. They seem like a good idea but I'm not convinced they are that practical.
