T/D 100 ser gearbox

!00 SER Gearbox conclusion thanx to all the guys that answerd an old post back in January it was post 29945 just thought I would let you know that the main problem was the 3rd & 4th selector hub so I bought a full bearing and seal kit as well as the hub and as a safe measure a new 5th gear as we could see upon close inspection that it had some hairline cracks in it ( I suggest that you take the box to an experienced gearbox builder as they may have the right tools and equipment to properly see any defects ) such as a dirty great big mag glass and a you beut spray and when they see somthing suss they have a machine that they will strike the gear to see if anything shows up . OH and for Don Kyatt thumbs up they are great blokes and I now will also recomend them, well upon reinstallation I also changed the spigot bush had the fly wheel machined and put in a new Daiken clutch kit SO FINGERS CROSSED !!
P.S yes it did have the smaller Prado style box and I wish I Knew why??
