Does anybody know of any tyres that have an overall diameter (OD) of
31.5" or 800mm , that will fit on to 15x7 sunraysia rims. I would prefer to get All Terrain tyres and keep away from Mud Terrains. Has anybody got a similar set up, and are they happy with it?

Cheers

Glenn,

32x11.50R15 will give you a 31.7" diameter, but you will need 15x8 rims because of the 11.5" wide section.

For a 15x7 rim you can go a 31x10.50R15 with a diameter of 30.7", or you can try a 33x9.50R15 for a diameter of 32.7".

You can download a PDF file with all the BFG All-Terrain KO tyre sizes here -http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/assets/pdf/all_terrain_ta_kd.pdf

Even if you don't get the BFG A/Ts, it will give you a good guide to the dimensions. Then you can check other brands for the sizes that interst you.

glenn, try Cooper Discoverer STT (mud) @ 32x11.5R15LT which is 31.4" tall, or DiscovererLT (all terrain) 32x11.5R15LT which is 31.3" tall. Or Mickey Thompson Baja Radial MTX 31x11.5R15LT which is 31.4" tall. These are about the only 15" tyres that I know that meet your 31.5" criterior.

You can probably go with 35x10.5 centipedes on 7inch rim without a problem.

You can also get 33x10.5's in certain brands....

then again 15x8 sunnys are only $50each....

Remember if you go more than 15% over original size, you need an engineers cert to be legal.... Your insurance company may walk away from you if you have a claim.
