Sorry, don't remember the cost but the campground is about 200 m from the falls. It's only a small area so you should arrive early !!!

Hi Neil, I know of three different camp site around Wangi Falls. The first is at:
Rum Jungle Lake (south) it is a picnic area 11 km NW of Batchelor. Turn left off the Litchfield rd 6 km NW of Batchelor onto Windmill rd for 3 km, then turn S onto poet rd for 2 km. They allow camping, it has some good views, toilets, shade BBQ and picnic facilities and dogs are allowed.

Buley Rockhole Camp ground: 43 Km west of Batchelor. Toilets, camp fires allowed most times, no dogs, around $18 per night. ph. 08 8976 0282

Wangi Falls Campground: 66 Km SW of Batchelor. Toilets, showers, wheelchair facilities, fresh water, picnic facilities, camp fire places, around $20 per night.
Ph. 08 8976 0282

Hope this helps,

Adam.

The camp ground at Wangi is close to falls and there is an "honour" box as you enter--from memory it was $5 per head per night. There are toilets and cold showers and all sites are level sites but gets full early in the busy season--arrive before lunch and you should be o.k.

G'day,
there are also 2 camping grounds on the road in to the Florence Falls. They are only a few ( 3 -4 ? ) km from the Buley Rockholes.
First there is a T/O on the right down to a 4WD camp ground and then about 200m further along the Florence Falls Road, also on the right ist a T/O to the 2WD camp ground. It has showers and toilets. Camping areas are shared and some are quite large. Have fire places.
There is a Honour box and fee last time I was there was $ 6.60 p/p.
Mike.
