I have done a search of the "past posts " but I am still hopelessly confused . Do I have to join a users group and put the photo on there before I can add it to a post ?
Some people do a post and it has the picture right there . You don't have to click on a link and go somewhere else to see it .
I have seen the "To Post Hyperlinks " thingies above where I am writing this post - is that the secret ? Is there instructions anywhere on this site ?
Sorry to annoy you all with a question I am sure has asked many times before .
Willie .

Is there no where on this site that describes the ways of adding pics to posts.
There is so much confusion and mystery about this simple task, what's the go, is it a bluddy joke or what.
For crying out load would someone better with words than me write an FAQ on this. When the question is asked we can simply post the standard and correct reply with the answers.
So there are 3 methods that need to be defined:
Adding a rig
pic
Adding a
pic with EO hosting
Adding a
pic with external hosting
Please someone do it
Sorry Willie, I'm no having a go at you.

Well under the "Enter your followup" box are the HYPERLINKS clues, theyre the ones for links and pics, its easy to do.
For rig pics the clue is that you need to have a "signature" in your profile for the rig
pic to show. Other than that its easy as shooting doves in a barrel.

Bonz,
I want to add a photo and do not want to use the gallery picture that is for members only. There is a hyper link for images, how does that work?
Keep it simple.

I know it's easy if you know how but so many don't, confusion regins are we are hit with the same old questions and how many out there are afraid to ask. We need some good documentation.

Mad Dog ,
I knew it was a pain in the butt question and I would cop some flak - that's why I appologised in my post .
But you are right , there needs to be an "Instructions for Dummies " section in the site .
Thanks ,
Willie .

No Worries Willie, as I said I wasn't having a go.
Laura, Irfanview is one of the most popular image viewers in the world and can do wonders with photos including resizing, and it's FREE. Install it, click on Image then resize/resample, make your pics whatever size you want
