The best fuel consumption I have achieved is 13.2 ltrs per 100k ,that is an auto ,two ppl light luggage mainly blacktop touring and staying within the speed limits.

I should add that is highway ie between town type driving.
My general average would be 14.5-15 ltrs/100k,but this vehicle does not see the city/suburban traffic.

Hi Dave T, I have had the Landcruiser V8 for a little over a month now, a 2003 model auto, first fill up gave me 13.6 ltrs per 100klm that was with some dirt roads, at a later fill up that gave me 13.4ltrs per 100klm, most of this at the speed limit but just may have exceeded it a little a couple of times to see how it goes, this does not include any real heave off road work where I expect a different picture, but with the difference in petrol/diesel costs and servicing I think I am doing ok and the fact that you can just put your foot down if needed and the thing just gets up and goes, hope this helps. In Brisbane today, Diesel is going from $1.25.9 to $1.29.9. I was in Mt Isa yesterday and diesel was going for $1.20.9.

And the government realy expects us to think that we are paying fair price.
I don't think so Tim.
