Hi All - I have seen some postings some time ago about this track & was looking for more current info. Is it possible to use this track around early July? And if so how long would it take to travel on average.
Dave.

I drove it in '04 from DD to Arrabury, on my way to
Birdsville. - good dirt road through to cooks
well (maintained by oil coy), then its 2 wheel tracks through to Arrabury - and in
places the road disappeared. Make sure you have a gps and know how to use it.
No issues with the track itself - very easy. I camped a few k's away from DD, then made it through to
haddon corner for lunch the next day, and
birdsville in the late afternoon.
cheers
Andrew

I haven;t travelled it, but plan to. Just one comment- it would be a real mess in the wet.
