If anyone needed any proof that travel is great for kids, they just needed to hear my son Callum [4yrs] on Thursday night as we were leaving the Telstra Dome after the Rugby 7s. He looked up at the night sky where laser lights were dancing around and said in a loud voice [Callum only has two volumes, off and loud... :) ] ...."LOOK MUM! MIN MIN LIGHTS" I don't think there'd be too many Melbournian 4 yr olds who'd think of that - that sort of thing makes it all worth while.

cheers

Lyn

Al & Mrs Al,
Your right, that them sort of things make it all worth while. Our little girl is 10 and wouldn't trade her for anything in the world. They grow up so fast and by the time you know it they're about to leave home. Just gotta try and spend as much time with them as possible.

Min Mins are mysterious "ghost lights" around Boulia in Qld, you can go to the Min Min Encounter where they attempt to explain it. The kids got a bit scared by it all, but were convinced they were seeing Min Mins all the time after that, it obviously left a very big impression on them both, you'll just have to do a trip to Boulia to learn all about it.
