gunbarrel fuel usage

Travelling this trek in july to the alice and down through
flinders ranges with wfe and kids and adventurous grand parents
T/d rodeo and T/d jackaroo will be going , rodeo the pack horse with
camp trailer behind , jack the tour bus and sight seeing .Ived checked the trek fuel and nothing for 4cyl deisel on this trek.Can anyone tell me usage for these vechiles and how much to carry as they have standard tanks .

Daryl, the Gunbarrel is as rough as guts at present and so it is slow going but not difficult. If you use your normal fuel consumption figures for normal dirt road going at speeds of 10 to 50 km/h, you won't be too far out. A 2.5 lt Defender in my party returned something in the vacinity of 9km/litre for this section.
