Anyone experiencing vibration throught the accelerator pedal.
I put up with it for nearly 8 months till it was so bad that it was easier to see.
I found that the vibration came from the part where the end of the accelerator cable connects to a arm near the motor.
The main part is secured to the motor with two bolts. Both of these could be tightened with fingers. I tightened them and now things are back to normal oh soooooooo smooth and no vibration. Hopefully this will give those somewhere to start.

Hi Gaz,
What sort of vehicle mate? Have some vibration in my 100 series, although not too bad.
Cheers

Hi Gerry,
Mine is a Patrol 4.2 DX 2000 model. It just about drove me crazy but now its normal.
Check the bolts that hold it on. Maybe its from there.
Cheers
Gaz

I had one come through the workshop a couple of weeks ago.
A 2002 v6 hilux and when I popped the bonnet I could see the clamp that holds the
accelerator cable near the shroud had let the cable pop out and the cable was hitting the fan. Slipped it back in to the clamp and no more vibration.
