Sounds good. I spent more than that on a late 93 model, although it only had done 105k. If you can, find out about major
services like timing belt at 100k etc.

Checked Redbook, and retail range for that model is $12,300 - $15,600, so if yours is mechanically sound, would be a good buy. I'd put a new timing belt on it now, as a matter of course. The belts are "cheap",compared to the alternative, and are easy to fit.
Other things to
check are brake pads & discs, and king-pin bearings.
