Hey Willem,
What's with the picture of Rosie? I notice all your posts have her back as your member's pic. Last time I saw her, she was at Warraweena with Stoney - perhaps you have decided that they don't make 'em like they used to and put her back in service?
Cheers
Gerry

Hi Gerry

No, Rosie is till making herself useful on Warraweena Station and she will see her days out there. I am going to use her split rims though for an upcoming OFFROAD trip.

I change rig pics to keep it interesting...lol

Cheers

Hey Willie,
Do you need any more split rims? I have 2 with tyres and one bare rim.
Let me know.

Thanks Bill, will take you up on that one if they are Nissan rims.

Email me and we can discuss it.

Hmmmm Laura

Dunno if I should tell ya. Here are some clues

Next month...somewhere in Central Australia(been waitihg a month for a permit to be approved and still waiting)...then from Alice Springs I am leading a trip to the Geographical Centre of the Simpson Desert and then home by mid May.

In early July I will be doing some cross country driving in the Gibson Desert and later that month we are visiting two locations in The Great Sandy Desert. One has a disused track to it and the other has no track to it.

It remains to be seen how well we will do out there as I am towing a trailer with extra fuel supplies on board.

Have done a lot of research but it is never enough. Have to prepare the vehicle thoroughly and drive very carefully when OFFROAD so as not to break anything. Sort of seat of pants stuff....lol

There is nothing better than an adrenalin rush when attempting an unknown quantity.

There used to be sign outside Boulia which read something like this:

" If you venture too far towards the sunset, you may come out on the other side"

We shall see....lol

Cheers
