Is there an easy way to get the existing 'box' out of the Din void , so I can fit my Uniden in ? Vehicle is a 2005 GU Cab chassis

If the setup is the same as the 99 then everything around the radio area comes apart. You should see 2 little slots towards the bottom of the panel, stick a flat head screwdriver in there and give it a little twist and it will just pop out.

after you take the 2 screws out the bottom!!
