Product Info: Manufactured by the Cooper Tyre & Rubber Company betweeen April 2004 and November 2005. They were sold by Tyres4U during the period December 2004 to February 2006.

Defect Details: The affected tyres may not have adequate rubber coverage of the belt edge due to low tread gauge in the sholder slot area of the tyres. It may eventually cause cracking at the base of the shoulder slots resulting in exposed belt wire leading to accelerated belt degradation. Continued use may cause the ply cords to break and the tubeless linear to tear and lose the inflating air.

Alternatively, consumers can contact Tyres4U on the toll free number 1800 722 822 or email them at info@tyres4u.com.au for further information or to arrange for inspection and where appropriate the replacement of tyres.

And I was just going to buy some 235/85 16 trail cutters.

Might leave it for a month or so for faulty tyres to get flushed out of the system.

Thanks for the post.
