Hi Darian
I have a Barrett 950 and find it simple to use and that the radio works very
well. I have not used the Codan, but bought the Barrett as I was able to easily add in my own Frequencies which I could not do with a codan

Hi Darian
I have a codan NGT and prior to me buying this unit I knew nuthing in regards to the use of any HF radios.I picked up the use of this unit very easily but I suggest that you will have to use this unit often in the 1st couple of weeks to become accustomed to the correct buttons to push.
I find it a great unit to use.
