I remember reading in the forum that Mainey could get or find Fullriver AGM batteries for a good price in WA. I have done a search and can't seem to find the posts or any information in the trading post as I thought someone said he advertised in there. So if your out there Mainey or if any one can point me in the right direction it would be most appreciated. Thanks

Evening drifta... we bought our AGM batteries from the mob up at lake Macquary.
See the link below.

http://www.lakecomm.com.au/batteries.html

We found they were the cheapest at the time even with the $25 postage fee for each of the batteries.

Hope it helps.
Boo.

I bought a 100AH AGM off challenge batteries at Christmas time. Cost $209 at the time and I'm very happy with it.

Buy them in bulk at that price if you can get them.

They won't be in business long at those prices.

ha ha - the 'uncompetitive retailers' lament' eh Derek...................more to the point, why not put presure on your suppliers to give you competitive wholesale prices - 'you can't sell right if you don't buy right'

I bought a Remco AGM 100AH for $264.00 in Melbourne from Batteryworld , sounds like I paid a little too much..? I have seen some on Ebay for $239 or less. There are some 2 year old AGM's on Ebay going very cheap if you just need something low cost.

I bought 4 X 120Ah Fullriver AGM's a year ago at $220 ea, (2 for me, 2 for a friend.) The prices from other sellers were all $290 to $300+.
Different importer/supplier I believe.
It pays to shop around.
Cheers

I paid $260 for a REMCO 100 A/H AGM from Chris at Battery World, Wantirna, Vic which is a fair price. I didn't rip the guts out of him. He has done previous work for me at a competitive price. I can't start to talk about the work and advice he has given to me gratis.

When you buy from a fine trader at a fair price, you will establish a relationship and that is more important than a few miserable dollars.

I had a problem when I was bush, on a Saturday arvo at 5.30 pm and rang Chris. He answered his phone and solved it for me.

Price isn't everything.

Cheers,

Jim.

Yeah Jim, Chris has been very helpful for me also, my problem is I need Fullriver batteries because I need 3 x 120AH, and their dimensions are the only ones suited to my application. But Chris has been very helpful except for that bloody dog in in his showroom that keeps wanting to bite my ankles.! LOL
