We are travelling from Esperance to Albany WA in April and would like to know the best spots to see and stay at. We are towing a caravan but also have a 4WD to get to the rougher spots. I would appreciate any information.

Jennien,
This area is my back yard. There's several bush camping areas along this section of coastline, Munglinup beach, Starvation Bay and Masons Bay being three of them. Bremmer Bay has two nice caravan parks and plenty of good 4wding getting to and from the beachs either side of town. Just ask the locals how to get to the different beachs. Betty's Beach near Albany is a great little spot to have a look at, and so is Two Peoples Bay. If you want to go inland a little there is the Stirling and the Porongurup Ranges about an hour or so from Albany. Be warned though, if you are travelling in the area over the Easter break, you may have trouble finding somewere to camp.
Regards
Steve

Hi Steve and all,
Other places to consider are, in order from Esperance
Hopetoun, there are a number of campsites in that general area.
Cheynes Beach, (a long beach drive nearby)
Waychinicup (Tents only)
King, Kalgan River area close to Albany

West of Albany there is
Torbay Inlet
Cosy Corner East
Denmark
Parry's Beach
Peaceful Bay
Walpole
Mandalay Beach

Agree with Steve, places fill up over Easter, is school holidays too till Mon 24th

Good Luck
