I know it is UK based but e seems to address (or at least is starting to address) the concerns held by many in the 4WD community.

Wouldnt it be so much easier if you typed in http://www.4x4prejudice.org/index.php and it automatically created a hyperlink as it does in Outlook Express or other Office products.

Yeah certainly would Cruiser but I suspect that this is a quaint feature of HTML documents.

I was given an English 4WD magazine which had the top ten tips for going offroad (or 'Greenlaning' as they call it) One of the tips was to pack some secateurs so that you can get out of your vehicle and cut back any twig sticking out of the hedgerow which might scratch your vehicle.

Life at the edge.

"Never knock anything till you've actually been there done that.......... "

Well Dave, I've certainly been there, I have also certainly driven a 4WD there down dirt tracks and through paddocks, sorry - fields - and over hill and down dale. But I must confess that I managed it without my secateurs.

So perhaps I am just half qualified to knock it, so I won't knock carrying a set of secateurs I'll just knock anyone daft enough to spend their days trimming the hedges walking in front of a 4wd like the guy who used to have to carry the red flag.
