For ages I've had this creaking/flexing noise coming from what appears to be around the rear doors or possibly around the passenger side rear. I've adjusted doors and even investigated inside the rear tailgate doors but the noise still persists. Its mainly heard when doing acute turns such as out of driveways, when negotiating gutters.
Any ideas.
Thanks,
Dave
Mitchell.

It may be that your tyres are touching the flares/guards. I had the same problem on the GQ until I had a 50mm lift kit fitted.

Dave,
I had a similar thing on my GU. I thought it was the reinforcing plate on the bottom left hand corner of the drive side door window. Did some terrible panel beating to try and fix it, with no success. Turned out to be the lack of lube on the door locks and catches.

We had the same problem on our GQ. It was the rear door rubbers. A quick spray with Silicone spray fixed it.
May be worth spraying all of the door rubbers with silicone spray, Could be a cheap fix

Had a squeak in the rear of the 80series which was hard to identify; especially as I found it hard to convince the wife to travel in the cargo area to identify it's source. Through a process of elimination (lubricating the rear
seat catches etc) I found it to be the rear
barn door locks which I have lubricated with vasoline and it cures the squeaks for about 4 months.
