To all you members out there, thought you may like to know Roachie has now got himself an after market tail shaft for the beast. Have you fitted it yet Roachie. Des tells me it must have been a Tojo to get it into that shape, a Nisssssan would't have the power

It's a long story Truckster.........

It was a trophy initiated by the Bong Bong 4WD Club in the Sth Highlands of NSW. My 3 boys were awarded it jointly with 2 young ladies from Mildura, at the AGM of the SAAFWDC last weekend.

It is a goodwill trophy....very professional and quite heavy. A twisted tailshaft is mounted vertically on a timber base with a number of chrome shields.

The boys were awarded it for their sterling efforts in a competition in which they managed to get a better score than Annette and myself!!!! I am gunna get a tattoo that reminds me that Columbus discovered America!!!!! (I couldn't friggin remember that to save myself). I'm also gunna take some lessons in estimating lengths of short bits of dowell........my lad Jarrod got all 3 lengths correct and I was 50mm out on each one.

Thanks Blaze for reminding me how dumb I am!!!!! ;-)))))

However, it MUST be a Nissan shaft out of a 4.2TD, cos no other vehicle could twist a shaft like that!!!! hahaha

Cheers

Roachie

I would not have thought that Nissan would build such a weak componant into their vehicles.
I got the 5 questions right but couldn't get within cooeee of the lengths of dowell either and I should have known.:(((
I didn't even attempt to put the toilet tent back in the bag cos I didn't have my wire cutters with me.
