Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on keeping troopy rear doors open when parked on a bit of a slope. I've previously used straps attached to the spare tyre and gone through one of the rear windows but was wondering if I could use something more permanent. I'm no engineer so would need something fitted. Alternatively should they keep open without any problems? This is my first so maybe I just need something fixing.
Any suggestions much appreciated.

I thought that sliding bit that's at the bottom of the door ( slides inside the door when close) is supposed to do that job. Maybe yours is a bit loose. On my troopie the dors stay where I let go of them, unless there is a strong wind.
Did you try a wooden wedge inserted from the inside, just above the hinge?

Now you got me wondering just WHY you want the doors kept open? Anybody could climb inside and nick stuff.

I live on a hill and park sideways on it so every time i want to take something out of the truck i have this problem. I'll check the original brackets to see if they're doing their job.

Cheers.
