i'm looking at putting a load anchoring system in my ute so its more versatile than just having the side rails.
has anybody used the "anchor tracks" ones available from opposite lock (seen in 4WD Monthly "april '06" p241)
or does anybody know of somewhere i can get a similar system?

thanks folks

I got some of these tie down points from Bluey's Ute World. They were pretty cheap (about $50 for six delivered) and work really well. I have a wooden tray so they were pretty easy to put in and are quite secure. I got them because they are slightly less obtrusive than the rail ones so it is easier to put a load over them.

are they the recessed ones you have or the ones i've seen with the removable loop that sit slightly proud of the surface.?

they are recessed with a few mm from the srew and the rivet holding the ring down. I just took some photos but have no idea how to post them so if you want I can email them to you.
