OK this one has me bugged. It needs a team effort
The brown rail indicates National park or
campground somwhere, and it is in WA. I think I can make out a Livinstonia palm but not sure, there are grass tress everywhere. I can't help but think it is around
Mitchell Plateau, but don't remember any walking trail like that around there. It doesn't look like anywhere I know along the GRR. Do I have it wrong, could it be in the southern part of WA, I think not, but have little experience with that part of Oz.
Anyone else with some ideas?

The name is being entered just incorrectly (in this case) - it is a Memorial.

Whilst I've been a contributor for months (years??), I'm only recently a member - mainly becasue of the help I got trying to find my stolen 'Cruiser.
BUT- how do I get to see the competition piccies please??
Thanks,

I see (or don't actually) what you mean Bilbo. Looks like someone has won the last
pic comp until David can load some new data.

"Livinstonia palm"....bit late but for the record books the palms in the picture are Zamia Palms...found in South West.
Limestone path was also a bit of a clue (but not definitive) for coastal plain area of SW WA.

I did say I think, it was a dead frond I thought I could see in the background, not the green fronds.
Man!
limestone? I couldn't tell the geology from the
pic, you must have good eyes.

No worries - my assessment of the composition of the path is based on its course texture(slightly "rocky"), colour (light grey/white) and its location (based on grass trees and zamias - appeared to be in South West)....other natural paths are generally sand, clay or gravel (pisolitic laterite) - educated guess of a (former) geologist and south west resident.
Cheers
