Hi all , just discovered that two 2 ltr casts of red wine fit perfectly into my drivers side rear storage compartment on the 105 cruiser . Beats carrying the thongs that were in there . Anyone else got nick nacs that fit in to factory built storage spaces ?.

G'day togo,
Well mate, I also own a 14ft Millard poptop caravan that I have recently refurbished ( for those 'more comfortable'trips to the coast!) , and as I have a WAECO portable fridge that I carry with me, I transformed the in-built caravan fridge into my wine cooler!. I can store and carry up to 12 bottles of the finest red, for those relaxing nights entertaining my fellow travellers on those balmy coastal caravan parks! Ahhhhh, the serenity of it all!

tojo,

When I made the rear storage system in the back of the Troopie I made a holder that will hold 2lt cask of Brown Brothers Port.

No more packing the cask and having to find it at night when you should be sitting around the fire just sipping.

The holder sits on the left hand side just in front of the water tank so it is easy to get to.

The real test is " can I find it in the dark without turning the lights on"
Jägermeister bottles are square for a good reason, they don't roll and fit in with other square things........ok that is two reasons.
I need some skull and bones stickers so I can hide them in the first aid box.
Happy Friday everybody :-)

cheers

Tojo!!! I guess you just need a few metres of that clear PVC tubing from the cask back to the drivers seat!!! (:)

Sounds like to much sucking effort required , might be better off strapping it to the roofrack and gravity feeding it .
