Terrain Tamer Winch

Hi all, I have been looking at hand winches recently and today Auto Pro have Terrain Tamer hand winches for $329 (1600kg lift & 2500kg pull). Has anyone had experiences with one -good or bad? Also can get a TJM OX brand for $380 and an ARB Magnum for about $415 but not sure if I need to spend more to get better(such as Big Haul & Tirfor). I checked the archives but can't find anything on Terrain Tamer so any info would be appreciated

A mate has one, i havea black rat... his terrain tamer is much better, easier to use and less of a pain in the arse than my black rat... I have used tirfor as well and the terrain tamer is just as good.

I had a quick look at the winches at Auto Pro and I think that you will find that the Big Haul and the Terrain Tamer are the same only a different badge.

The Black Rat and the Tirfor are also out of the same factory.
