I have just replaced the timing belt but the timing belt light remains on. Has anyone had any experience with turning it off?

Any help will be very much appreciated

Many Thanks.

Con
near the trip meter button there should be a little rubber plug. remove plug and insert a wire to depress the "switch" and light should go off

Hi Con
If yours hasn't got the little bung in the dash to insert a rod for disarming the tb light you will have to remove the dash. In the back of the instrument cluster there will be two screw holes with one screw in one of them. Remove the screw and insert it in the other hole and this will reset the light until next interval.
Hope this helps
