non 4x4 power steer question

Hi All
have been offered resonable price toyo starlet, for my wife to learn in.
problem is it has no power steer, which may cause her a problem.
is it possible to obtain from scrap yard and have fitted?

Have you done a
test drive? My daughters starlet is as light as on the steering.

They are not heavy to steer, no more difficult than a shopping trolley.
Rather buy one with power steering if it is too heavy for her. Same thing applies to a/c, buy it with a/c.
