Hello all. I am looking for an automotive air pressure gauge that is electric rather than mechanical, as the mechanical ones nearly always develop irritating air leaks. I have the sender unit for a gauge but cannot find a gauge anywhere. Have checked all the sites I could think of. The only thing that turns up are oil pressure gauges, but I don't want an oil can on my compressor gauge. It will need to go up to 150PSI. All information gratefully accepted.

Last night I replied to your query an tyre pressures etc, I gave a lot of thought on the subject and could remember reading an article some time ago about this and recalled the sensor being inside the tyre .I will be looking at this system when I decide to buy for 2 reasond, With the system that has the sensor on the valve stem there is the liklihood of it being torn off or some A-hole steals it, So the internal system would be better for off road .

Greetings

Have a look here Smart Tyre Not cheap but it monitors pressure and temperature. With the cost of modern tyres and the saftey issues these products "Tyre Monitors" are vecomming a necessity.
