Hi all.
Can any body out there give me any info on the locations or gps way points for the following
places . Surprise falls . Sadlers springs , Dawn creek . All on the
Gibb river road I believe . Thanking you in anticipation .

I could only locate Dawn Creek S15 59. 39' E127 01. 38'

Surprisingly there are several Surprise Creeks in The
Kimberley and a Surprise Spring but no Surprise Falls (shown on 50K maps or listed in gazetteer anyway), however there are some falls near Surprise Spring ..just north of GRR - maybe this is them

125° 28.4373’E
There does not appear to be a Sadlers Spring …..There is however a Saddler Spring
17° 8.7526’ S
125° 28.3397’ E
All coords are GDA 94 (~WGS84) and have been measured from
50K mapsusing OziExplorer

Hi Greg.
Surprise falls I believe is in the vacinity of 15 ks south from Mt House. Saddlers Spring is supposedly 24 ks south I would presume both are on the road in to Old Mornington
Camp or therabouts . Thanks guys for help so far.

Hello -
well not sure if I have right ones - both coords I gave you are west south west of Mt House Stn - the coords I gave you for the falls near Surprise Spring are on the north side of the GRR about 25km from Mt House Stn (which is on the south side of the GRR). Saddler Spring is about 500 metres north of the GRR....27 kilometres from Ht House Stn (as the crow flies)...so neither are on the Old
Mornington Road. I am confident the Saddler Spring coords are right (its actually marked on the map)...not so sure about the falls.
