No quandery as far as I'm concerned. The friendships I have formed already as a direct result of this site are alone worth the membership fee. Hopefully there will be more opportunities to catch up and form more friendships in the future. I also will continue to support, what I would call, a great info source. No buts about it, it's the best address on the web.

My 2 bobs worth.

Gotta say that this is the best $30 i've ever spent, for more than a few years, and will continue to do so. The info on here alone is worth a hell of a lot more than that. The laughs, the odd tear, and thefriendships that are formed are priceless.
This site gives us all alot more than we pay for, so the $30 is a very small price to pay as far as i am concerned.

I've been visiting for a year now, and on Monday I decided to sign up! Today my membership card arrived and my two 4x4's already have their bright new stickers attached.
I reckon this has to be one of the best sites around, born out by the number of daily visits. I know i've learnt a hell of a lot.

Cheers, Rod.

Rod,

Welcome aboard by the way.

Like the others have said, I get far more than my $30 worth in info, entertainment and friendships.

Spend $75 in the shop and get renewal for free Alloy. Sounds like a woman's logic, but you can convince yourself you have saved $30 if you wish.

My wife spends $30 on a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc down at the pub without blinking. I reckon membership is better value :-))

Go for it Alloy - I joined recently, absolutely no regrets. This site is worth much more than membership cost to me.

Rememeber ,,, "united we stand, divided we fall". We may all need to support each other particularly when big brother tries to eat into our enjoyment of what we do, whether it is increased taxes, laws or shear bloody mindedness.

Off the soapbox now. Cough up the dough!!!!

I'm comparing everything to the cost of fuel nowadays. Membership is cheap... then you really belong. Pay now.

In the words of Ben Stiller in Starksy and Hutch " DO IT "

Bad movie but that scene was funny.

Well, I'm just a new member, admittedly I haven't met anyone yet!.. nor am I as committed to off-road 4x4íng, in fact, not much i can add to the posts, not being a fanatic like most on here! However,I do travel a hell of a lot, towing either my camper or my van, and it's nice to know there is a website that i can refer to if I do need some éxpert' advice! i would hope that sometime in the future, I will meet up with other members on the road, and share excperiences. So, for that fact alone, and for the wealth of information available here, it's well worth the joining fee. Happy motoring, troops!

If you can't make up your mind over something as trivial as your membership fees then how do you get on in real life?

Anyway, who cares?

You will note that you have not got a response from a visitor.

Responses from visitors on this topic are not encouraged by the forum owners. In fact visitors who post on such subjects risk becoming banned.

The $30 is not the issue.

I tread warily.

It's got nuffin to do with the question at hand really, but I've been bustin a gut for months to use this quote (which I think is someone's sign-off on this forum).

"If you lend someone $20- and you never see them again; it's been $20- well-spent"........... hahahaha

Jimbo,

But there are posts in the affirmative from at least three very recent new members. Does'nt matter either way really. You do or you don't, same as most things in life.

Jim there is no issue posting or accessing info as a member or a visitor on here.

If the $30- is not the issue May I ask then, What is?

And I would think that the only reason you would need to consider treading carefully is if you breached the sites terms and conditions, expressing a reason not to be a member is your prerogative and I would think no reason to be banned or moderated.

Cheers
