hi. just wondering if anyone has installed spotties on a 2005 kj cherokee? I'm having trouble finding a spot to feed the wire from the engine bay into the cab and I dont really want to drill a hole. Any help would be appreciated.

Simmo

I have an 05 KJ CRD and recently installed a brake controller.

On the passenger side fire wall is a large rubber grommet with a multi wired loom going through it.

Just use a sharp thingy (your choice) to pierce a hole in the said grommet about 5-10mm from the loom insertion.

Give the cable/s you want to insert/pass through a liberal coating of lacum powder and they will slip through easily.

You can then conduit them and run behind the top of the carpet in the left hand footwell, under the heat area and where ever you like there after.

All totally invisible

Have a good one

Simmo - go to the dedicated Jeep website and ask there. They are a very helpful bunch!

www.ausjeepoffroad.com/forum/index.php

Then go to the "Cherokee Drivers" forum.

Cheers
