Try the Vic Pajero Club forum - I think the general consensus is that earlier Pajeros aren't suited to gas conversions.

I asked Mistubishi about converting a 1990 NG, and they said it is 'not recommended'. I guess being at 275000km now, I may not have too many years before the engine will need to be replaced anyway...

Definently NOT recommended.

Most of the V6's , including PJ's, Prado's and Hilux/4Runners , have head problems running on gas.

Its a head gasket problem.

Its quite common to have head gasket problems on the V6's . . . The 4Runner was well known for it.

They tend to run quite hot as it is , and with gas being hotter still , its quite likely to have a problem.

Thats NOT to say , every single one , HAS that problem , quite clearly they dont , but , IMO , why buy something that has a known weakness to start with.

and Yes , I have a NG V6 Pajero , but NOT on gas.
