Just bought a Waeco CF60 fridge last Friday and would like to know if it is normal to have a noise like fluid being pumped which is fairly loud above the buzz of the motor . It is louder whilst it is cooling it down from zero to -15

Our other car fridge is a new 40lt Waeco and it does not make any noises whatsoever. As quiet as a mouse. Works well too.

I have a different brand of fridge that was making the same noise an not cooling properly it was fixed last week by topping up the gas refridgerant which was found to be leaking slowly from the valve.

My Waeco (70L) is as quite as anything, in fact, if it wasnt for the sound of the fan when it is running, you wouldnt be able to tell when it is cycling.

I have a Waeco 50l and the only noise I ever hear is the sound of the fan when it is running. You can only hear it when up close, from the drivers seat the only way I know the fridge is running is by looking at the thermometer.

Yep - my CF60 is very quiet - mainly fan noise, and quite low at that - no gurgles.

My Waeco is so quiet that when there's an Engel fridge nearby I can hear the Engel logo rattling on the metal body and can also hear the hollow of an emptier wallet..! LOL

This is a Waeco country where on a quiet day you can hear the Engels rusting away!

My CF50 is quite through the day due to the background noises around the house. But at night the office come alive with sounds like Darth Vader coming from the fridge.

You get use to it. Just as I typed that it turned on and it does make more noise than I thought. Still not enough to worry me.

Cheers, Patrick

We have a Waeco 60 litre and it is quite noisy. It is about 4 months old and does a great job. I assumed that, since it was rather noisy from day one, it is normal. It is really not much of an issue.
