Supercheap Waeco

Has anybody purchased a Waeco from supercheap?
They are selling a CDF45 for $550 39l

I rang the Waeco shop in Burleigh on the gold coast to find out a bit about them and apparently Waeco makes the CDF45 for supercheap and Repco and are similar to the Waeco CCF45 (sold by Waeco) which has just been superseeded.

So I ask what are the differences between the CCF45 and the CDF45 and got a rather unconvincing "weeell... nothing reeeally" I am thinking maybe they use cheaper parts or quality control is not so good but am only speculating. Anybody have any opinions to share?

I bought one from Burleigh about 2 years ago on New Years sale, 20% off everything. I think the bag cost me around $40 !
Still working well when I use it :((

I bought a 32lt from Supercheap maybe 10 months back ($550 incl bag) and have used it 1 out of every 3 days and it has been great, quiet, I sleep next to it in the car when I'm on the road no probs. Would reccomend it to anyone interested, so you know, I have no affiliation with s/cheap or waeco, in fact I also have an older Engel and prefer the Waeco to this as the waeco is much quieter.

Actually the real reason I sleep so well without my lumpy pillow is, my lumpy pillow snores but don't tell her that.

super cheap usually have 20% off on one of the days over easter.
thats when ill buy mine for $440

The CDF models have been superceded, they use an older looking fridge shape, no basket or light in some of the models , less fancy digital display. The cooling capabilities however remain the same with the Danfoss Compressor.
