The guy at the plant where I buy my BioD has been running it in his '04 Pajero since new with no probs.

I run it in my Terrano II but it is only a bit new tech. Old tech pushrod motor with computerised buts strapped on.

This was posted on the Pajeroclub forum from Mitsubishi apparently:

The following email from Mitsubishi after a few enquiries regarding Bio-deisel and a few other things.

Hi XXXX,

Further to our previous conversation this afternoon, following is the
information regarding the use of Bio-diesel.

All Mitsubishi diesel-powered vehicles can be used with diesel fuel
blended with Fatty Acid Methyl Ester (FAME) that meets the requirements
detailed below (as specified by the "Common Position Statement"
announced by the five major diesel fuel injection equipment
manufactures).

1. Amount of FAME must be below 5 vol. %
2. Quality of FAME must conform to EN14214
3. Quality of FAME blended diesel fuel must conform to EN590

If the use of an alternative fuel has caused or contributed to a defect
or concern the warranty will be denied on the affected components.

The following websites will provide you with further information.

www.biodiesel.org.au
www.bp.com.au

Thank you for your enquiry.

Yeah mines probally the same as the terrano, an old style motor with electronics strapped to it. I run 100% backyard biodiesle in the 1KZ-TE surf motor (same as current prados) and have no dramas, in fact it runs better.
