Hi guys,
I run oziexplorer on an old IBM Thinkpad. Brian at gpsoz has mail order. Download maps using Mapgrabber which was written by Jackaroo on the gpsaustralia
forum group. www.gpsaustralia.net/ These boys have all the answers when it comes to using oziexplorer, gps and maps. Truckster Hardly Normal is retailing refurbished IBM laptops for around $700. Cheaper than I bought mine off ebay and with some warranty.

'on yer Uppy! Great thing about,in my case,in your case GPS/maps/
treks etc, can't use them much in prison (read house/
home) so we find lots of excuses to go bush..By the look of your
pic,you do that anyway.Ripper! I have a Pro/SLR by Kodak which links directly to the GPS so we can identify where pix are taken..We had a couple of s/hand Toshiba Satelite lappies, solid, chunky.Hurt me to turf them out after years of top service, but the software jus got too 'heavy" for them. You have a magic rig with the Nissan. We had 7 years of them.Never laid a spanner on them. But we did wipe out a (black)weaner cow at 100+++ on the range near
Injune,Qld one nite.Had to use a snatch strap & a "real" guide post to pull alum bull bar off tyre to get steering.Have fun..RockyOne
