I have a VY Commodore and it has started making a "weering" noise. I only notice it at low speeds and while turning. I thought it might be the power steering, but I have checked the fliud level and it seems OK, Plus the noise is not there while the car is stationary.
Any ideas.
Cheers
Wato

sounds like air in the steering system. Have somebody turn the wheel from side to side while you listen and locate the source.

check your tyres for uneven wear at edges...run your hand (flat) same way as rotation and then back....note any difference....if so that is most likely the cause
