Crazy, is there any other kind of driver on the roads at the moment, you must have to do a stupidity test to drive the bruce between Clownsville & Cairns.
usually a good drive but not lately....

My 20 years in the Tropics was enough for me.

Humidity, mould, wet carpets in vehicle, wet seats, water in lights and sometimes in engine(even with a snorkle..lol). Rust in bearings, water in diffs, gearbox and transfer case.

Oh what fun...........................LOL

Enjoy it while you can!!!!!

We still miss our 6 years in the NT, but it is nice to have 4 seasons and rug up to go to the footy.
Any mug can be uncomfortable out bush

Ahh, those balmy nights where the palm trees sway under a full moon on a pristine beach.....the tropics can be great, IF you're a wealthy tourist. Or watching a movie on TV.
LIVE there ? Ya gotta be joking !! :)))))))

Yo Footy,

Used to live in Melbourne - really miss the 4 Seasons each day, Freezing winters and all that.

Yeh I guess the cost is high to do the tourist bit but who wants to anyway. We make our own fun and don't have to pay for it like the well heeled do.

The current situation is an "event" that happens only now and then (whatever that means) so we are all looking forward to some dry for a change..

Still going camping this weekend but at EMU CREEK near Dimbulah eh!

Grrr!!!

Crazy, the problems with your special events is that they are becoming more frequent :)
Have spent many a happy time up there, but I've no desire to live there. Seen what special events can do.
