Buy a Mt Isa CVT bar and yes i would update my springs if it were
mine especially if you are fitting a winch. But it depends what you are doing with the vehicle.

Rob,
ARB and TJM are the best on the market.
ARB and TJM have ADR compliance and are air bag compatible.
The difference between them, one is made in QLD and the other VIC. It is all about personal choice.
Most steel bars from them are winch compatible.
If a winch is not fitted then the standard
suspension would be fine.
A IFS Cruiser has torsion bars not springs and there for can be wound up a little to allow for the weight of the bull bar.

Winding up the torsion bars may possibly void the warranty although the dealer did
mine without any argument.
Doesn't matter now as Ive had put in a lift with stronger tosion bars and had the lower control arms welded.

Hi Rob:
i have an ARB "Sahara" steel winch bar and an X9 Superwinch (9000lb winch made in USA and sold as original equipment) fitted to the front of my '04 Sahara, i have not raised the
suspension and find it to be an excellent combination, i have had no problems with
suspension sagging etc. .... this is after 68,00klm and a number of winch extractions, both are excellent products ..

Rob,
I have just been through the same process and I chose the TJM outback bar as I think it looks good and it was about $600 cheaper than the ARB winch comp. bar. I will be picking it up next week but saw one today on a 100 series and looked good.
Cheers

Rob,
Check out the one in Mt Isa, but when I did it was $1400 for the bar and you can wait up to 3 months while it is being made.
They know about air bag and ADR but they don't worry about it too much.
