Willem
On the road tomorrow early, bound for Central Australia and then some adventures in the Simpson. Should be back in a months time or thereabouts.
At the moment Member Willie(Epping) and I are sampling a few reds before the trip up the
Oodnadatta Track tomorrow.
Two other
Forum lurkers will joing the group. One tomorrow early, and another in the Alice.
Later Member Wim will join us in the Simpson and maybe Ruth(
Birdsville CP) will be able to take some time off for another adventure out there
Cheers

Hi Willem,
Sounds like you will beat us by about 10 days. Leave a message for us there. We should be at
Geosurveys Hill about the 14th May and allowing another 4 days to get down to The Geo Centre. From the Geo Centre, we are heading out in a south easterly route, then out near
Kilpatha Well.
We both will gave some great stories to tell.
Have been in contact with Dave at Mount Dare and he said that the people that have been through the Simpson at the moment are only using a little extra fuel due to the very soft conditions. I thought that with such soft sands, the fuel usage would have been greater.
Make sure that you have more fuel up your sleeve than you had with the Suzuki's!!!
Once again, have a great and safe trip.
When your down our way, do drop in for a chat.
Cheers and all the Best
Stephen

Yep will have 330lts diesel on board from Mt Dare. But am towing trailier along the route, so it all remains to be seen just how
well I will do, considering I got 26km/100lt in the Suzuki...lol

You will do it no worries. After all you are no stranger to that country. Don't forget that note at the Geo Centre.
Cheers
