FOUR WHEEL DRIVERS TO BOOST FIRE RAVAGED TOWNS
Talking on Radio TALK1116 - 3AK on Saturday morning, Micheal Coldham (President) and Ian Lacey (Committee) announced plans to run a huge convoy of Four Wheel Drive Club Members and famillies in their vehicles to visit the fire ravaged High Country and North Eastern towns. In a show of genuine support for local communities the convoy will create an injection of Tourism cash flow into the Towns stricken by the impact of the fires. The onvoy will visit as many townships, local businesses and accomodation houses as possible. It is planned tp stop for morning and afternoon tea, lunch, dinner, snacks, fuel and accomodation and the trip should take about four days. It will most probably happen over the upcoming
Easter break although this is yet to be confirmed. Watch this space for further updates.
