hello,
I wish to raise a trek camper trailer about 40mm. It has a fitted Alko
suspension. is it a simple matter of putting a spacer between the suspenion bracket and the trailer chassis or is there something I am overlooking and should get it done proffessionally?
Any advice appreciated.

Leaf springs I assume?
I got some longer shackles made by a local engineer, punched out the old bolts and put them into the new shackles and put in place, took about 1 1/2 hours.
another option is doing a spring over leaf conversion although you might then get 75mm depending on the number of leaves.

The axle
suspension is ALKO IRS not leaf springs.
