the other day a friend bought a product just in a tube called autosol I think it was, black and gold tube. Cleaned up his bullbar great, did a bit on ours and it looked brand new so will be buying some ourselves to do the rest, he paid $9.00 for it I think from K Mart, but youwould no doubt get it at supercheap, autobarn etc.

Gday
Be very careful with aaluminium cleaner as it has a bad skin reaction..Not sure which type ,,but the big company that i used to work for forbid the use of this type of product ,,something to do with skin cancer..

used to use autosol on alloy mag wheels years ago, lots of elbow work but the end result was worth it. Wheels always came up looking like brand new.

OKKKKKKK see what you are saying Old Mate.... I won't buy everything from there some stuff is crap, others prices are good... example... drive belt was shot on Jero, Autobarn wanted to charge me $91.00 for a new one! supercheap charge $27.50.. and the belts were no different.

so then if you do want to buy autosol, just don't buy it at supercheap!

I had a nm Paj and now I have a NP . The NM I use to take to the car wash it tarnished the ally bullbar it went a white colour.
I haven't taken the NP to the car wash and it still looks like new.The solvents at the car wash must really get in.

So I recon it's easier to wash the Paj be hand than polish the bullbar by hand.

Cheers SCOOF

autosol is the go. Many a Harley man will swear by this stuff for keeping chrome work looking its best as well. Try using a buff wheel fitted to a drill (can get at Bunnings etc, maybe even supa cheap!!!!). It will go black quick but don't change it. after you have done the whole bar or wheel you'll need to wash it to get rid of all the scum but its comes up like new again.
