Does anyone else get this message in red when they post something ? "There was a critical error executing your query The Error: Incorrect syntax near the keyword 'OR'." I get it every time but the post always seem to work OK.

Same with me
Longreach,
Checked that the post had appeared, figured 'twas a puter glitch and did not bother about it. Maybe something for the 'guru'....

Guys,
I suspect the issue (looking at my logs) may be related to having a search running and updating a post. See if this gives us more clues - if we can re-produce it then I will be able to fix it. I have been seeing a log of search failures (which will give the error you reported) however I cannot work out how it happens as my testing alwasy seems to work. Let me know if you can find more info.

Hi David,
As I mentioned, no real issue but I was a bit curious as to why it pops up. Don't know if this will help but it just happened again and I wasn't doing a search (haven't done one today) but, not sure if this makes a difference, but I did try to reply to a post without first logging on and it told me I needed to log on which I then did and then posted the message (and then got the error). I am now logged on so we'll see what happens this time.
Cheers.

That worked without an error message. However, that was a follow-up and the previous post which generated the error was a reply. Not sure if that means anything though.

Where you running a query with GPS or Magellan and and EndDate?
There was a code problem with the EndDate field - I have fixed this one will see what happens to the logs now.
Thanks

I have often got the error message, but it hasn't made any difference to my replies, they still go up straight away.. I just figured it was maybe a normal website generated thing.

Got an error message even with posting the above.. also thought maybe it was just something to do with being a visitor and not a member yet.

Hi
Longreach
Yeap, only the once though with me.
It happened the other day when I was telling Roachie to have a great trip.
I have 3 posts almost the same.
The last one I gave up and refeshed it only to find that the 2 previous attemps had actually gone through but originally had said it didn't.
Cya
