Nope !

No rec fishing lisence required, just follow the bag/boat limits.
Be aware the fisheries police are always out in force though. They can confescate any boat , equipment or vehicle envolved in offences!

Log onto www.pir.sa.gov.au and you will find a fisheries link in there somewhere.

No and beware compared to the well overfished Eastern Coast the abundance of fish on the West Coast could be VERY adictive

Our extended family did a charter with a guy called Perry from Ceduna a few Xmases ago. The King George Whiting were magnificent and that guy knew exactly where to go and how to catch them. Great way for a bunch of mug fishermen to have a good day out.

Mate, just come back from there after two week with my son. I was camping in a place called davenport creek, 39 km the west side of Ceduna. We caught our boat limit ever day of king gorge whiting and got sick of catching Salmon.
Came home with a freezer full of both. Best to go in at low tide though, mite be alright now but we had some real high tides then and found the way in at the end of the earth road was in passable at high tide. You wont be disappointed.
