Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone can recommend any companies in Brisbane/
Gold Coast area that i could talk to about converting my 1999 Prado RV6 to LPG?
I'd also appreciate it if anyone who has converted this model of Prado can tell me if they have had good/bad expierences since converting to LPG.
Finally, can anyone tell me a ballpark cost to get the conversion done?
Thanks
Boab

Hi Boab, I have got a 2002 Prado running on LPG 62000k with no problems yet. They took out the main petrol tank and put the LPG tank up under the back, it hangs a bit lower than the petrol tank. I also run Flashlube system to keep the valves lubed a bit better, I can get about 450k out of the 70lt tank. When towing the campertrailer you do have to knock it out of overdrive when passing or going up hills, but over all very happy with it, hope this helps.
