hi all again, looking at maybe rebuilding the engine in our maverick ( 4.2 petrol running lpg ) or exchange engine , the old bus is still in good cond but using a bit of oil. are looking at heading off working around next year sometime and don't want to buy a new 4wd as
well as a new caravan. any suggestions most welcome

You could but how has it been treated?, am currently rebuilding one at the moment and you should of seen the Ring ridge on the basted 2 of the cylinders were quite bad, the taper it’s got going is impressive as
well LOL.
They wouldn’t all be bad thou.

Better fuel economy (probably work out to a bit more in cost though), more power than you could poke a stick at (no overheating with the LPG), what more do you want? Apparently you might have to look behind the vehicle every so often to see if you still have your van attatched.
Oh, and a v8 burble....
