gq oil pressure guage is dead

hi guys,

did a search but didnt find much. my oil guage died while i was holidaying in tassy (with water crossings). if its the sensor is it fixable or where would i get a replacement, and how do i test the guage itself?

Usually you can take the wire off the sender unit & earth it to the cylinder head, if the guage is working it will show full guage deflection, in that case it is the sender unit. If the guage still doesn't register then it's the guage itself.

Its common for the oil sender to die. its an easy fix, if yours has had the update, theres a breather on it that blocks.
